Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment, has set the record straight on the label’s current roster during an interview on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim.
According to Mensah, only three artistes are currently signed to a 360 record deal with Lynx Entertainment: KiDi, DJ Vyrusky, and DSL.
Mensah clarified that some artistes who have left the label still maintain distribution contracts with Lynx. He emphasized the distinction between a 360 deal, where the label handles all aspects of an artiste’s career, and a distribution deal, which focuses on music distribution.
Mensah also shared valuable insights on the music industry, stressing the importance of hard work, strategic planning, and understanding different types of artiste deals. He advised aspiring artistes to focus on honing their craft rather than complaining, noting that “the more valuable you are, the more services you can get.”
