Please Note That The Ban On Drumming And Noise Making Will Affect Areas Like The Nungua Township, Cold Store, Brigade Estates, Addogono, Okpoi Gono, Buade, Baatsonaa Spintex Road, Kotobaabi, Community 18 And Beyond, Sakumono, Lashibi, Klagon, Adjei Kojo, Kanewu, Santoe, Borteman, Katamanso, Oyibi And Other Villages Beyond.

(Clearing Of The Historical Footpaths From Gborbu Koo To Aklɛ naa Beach Where Nuumo Borketey Larweh Tsuru Prayed And The Sea Parted For Him And His Followers To Tread On Dry Land In The Ocean To His Former “Country” Where He Promised To Take Back His People.
After the clearing of the ancient paths called Gbɛjee Jufɔ, during the Nungua festival, the Gbɔbu Wulomo Shitse and Overlord is carried from the ancient Gborbu temple to Ablɔkɔɔ Jaanɔ where he goes round the ancient Ablɔkɔɔ Otutu 3 times and then stands on the Otutu to bless the land.

Then Later In The Afternoon Is First Gborbu Kple. This Is Where All Natives Of Ga-Dangbe Gather At Ablorkor Jaanor And Dance To The Sweet Tunes Of Our Ancient Kpele And Give Thanks Giving For Guidance And Protection.
Note, It Is Only Nuumo Gborbu Wulomo Shitse Who Has The Mandate Of Dancing To The First Tunes Before All Priestesses Are Possessed. From 2:00pm To 6:00pm.

This Mark’s The First Day Of Krowor Calendar Year (New Year). Exchange Of Greetings, Reconciliation, Showering Of Blessings And Merry Making To Mark The New Year. Then Later At 6:00pm, Nuumo Gborbu Wulomo Shitse Lifts The Ban On Drumming And Noise Making In Order To Pave Way For Street Carnivals And Merry Making.
