Highlife singer and songwriter Akwaboah Jnr has shared a significant update on his approach to songwriting. In an interview on Hitz FM, Akwaboah disclosed that he now charges for his songwriting services, a departure from his previous approach.
Akwaboah revealed that in the past, he wrote songs for fellow musicians who struggled with songwriting, driven solely by his passion for the craft. Although he didn’t earn money from these collaborations, he found joy and fulfillment in seeing his songs become hits and receiving airplay on radio and television.
