Former Black Stars Captain,Asamoah Gyan has openly declared his preference for old Gospel songs over contemporary ones.According to Gyan,the messages conveyed in old Gospel songs are much deeper than those in our current Gospel music.
Gyan expressed his admiration for legendary Ghanaian Gospel artists such as Esther Smith,Ama Boahemaa and others,stating that their songs inspire him greatly.He shared his thoughts on the matter during an Instagram live video session.
Gyan believes that old Gospel songs have a unique ability to uplift and transform lives.He noted that the lyrics of these songs are often rooted in scripture and convey powerful messages of hope,redemption and salvation.
