Stonebwoy Rules Out ‘Jejereje’ Remix with Screwface, Citing Commercial Implications

During an appearance on Onua Show Time with Nana Ama Mcbrown, Ghanaian dancehall sensation Stonebwoy disclosed that collaborating with Screwface on a remix of his hit song “Jejereje” would not be a prudent business decision.

While acknowledging the artistic potential of such a collaboration, Stonebwoy emphasized that Screwface’s limited international recognition and market viability would likely diminish the song’s commercial success.

“Featuring Screwface on ‘Jejereje’ would be aesthetically pleasing, but from a business perspective, it wouldn’t yield substantial financial returns,” Stonebwoy explained.

This revelation came in response to a question posed by a studio audience member, selected by host Nana Ama Mcbrown as part of a Q&A segment.

Stonebwoy’s assertion underscores the delicate balance between artistic expression and commercial considerations in the music industry, highlighting the importance of strategic collaborations in maximizing a song’s global appeal and financial potential.
