The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially declared the examination dates for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to a letter dated February 5, 2024, and shared with Adomonline.com, here are the exam dates:
The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for Senior High School Certificate (SC) is scheduled from July 8 to 12, 2024.
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is set to take place from July 1 to August 31, 2024.
The GES has stated that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will be furnishing the school heads with comprehensive information on candidate registration for the examinations in the weeks to come.
The GES instructed the Regional Directors of Education to share this important information with the Metro/District/Municipal Directors of Education, who will then communicate it to all the heads of Basic and Senior High Schools.
